Elk Falls Wedding Portraits | Teresa & James

Elk Falls Provincial Park in Campbell River was the location chosen for Teresa & James' anniversary session. It was a chance for the two of them to get dressed up in their wedding attire once again and go out and capture images amongst landscapes different than the wedding day while celebrating 1 year of marriage :) That being said, an Elk Falls wedding would be incredible for the wild heart couple looking to exchange vows in an intimate wedding or elopement. Do you dream of getting married amongst scenery as seen below? <3 Follow your heart!

For those coming to Vancouver Island as visitors & unfamiliar with the area, let me help!

*At Elk Falls itself, there are hikes big and small available, a newly built suspension bridge, and whimsical scenery. Take the time so soak it all in!

In Campbell River, consider the following:
*Walk downtown & enjoy the shops!
*Visit the pier & watch the fisherman casting a line down into the waters.
Keep your eyes open for dolphins, whales and other sea life that can be spotted on occasion!
*Consider a whale watching or wildlife tour! They are amazing!
*Visit Quadra Island!
*Consider spending a few nights at Dolphins Resort or Painters Lodge.
North Island is full of charm & a great place to enjoy a slower pace.
*If time permits, venture a bit further north & explore Strathcona Provincial Park.
Canoe on Buttle Lake, enjoy Myra Falls, go mountain climbing... it's an adventurers paradise.
